Update on the bid & project schedule

We delayed putting the project out to bid until we knew if we could include the grant secured by Rep. Riley. We have now learned that the $250,000 earmark grant administered by HUD will be a longer process to receive than we anticipated. Thus, we will go out to bid with the money we have on hand and defer some parts of the project to the next phase. We believe it's important that we show visible progress to grantors and the public before asking for additional grants and donations.
