We've delayed the bid while we waited to see when we could expect the $250,000 earmark secured by Rep. Riley. We're now going to bid early July.

Construction Delays
Construction on the Seventh Street Park, expected to begin this summer, will be delayed due to the need to raise more funds.
Renovation is Out for Bid
The Public Square renovation went out to bid. Two contractors provided bids for the project. Colarusso &Sons was the lowest qualified bidder and will be awarded the contract.
HPC Approves the Fountain Design
The Hudson Historic preservation Commission HPC held a Public Hearing Oct. 25, 2024 regarding the design proposed for the fountain.
Veterans Memorial Relocation Design
On July 17, 2024, Friends of the Public Square and Starr Whitehouse hosted a meeting with representatives of the VFW and the American Legion to present the proposed design for the repositioning of the Veterans Memorial in the park.
