Update on latest bidding process results of August 11, 2026

FOPS received two bids for renovations in the Seventh Street Park. Both came in significantly higher than the amount we had estimated based on the scope of work and the funds FOPS has raised to date. Accordingly, FOPS decided to reject the bids and solicit new bids for a first-phase project that will not include certain infrastructure work, such as the sewer hook-up for the future fountain. This expensive work will be part of the next phase, for which we are continuing to fundraise. We are working with our landscape architects at Starr-Whitehouse to put out a revised bid solicitation in short order.
